The Glass Tube Rotameter is a tool used in liquid and gas applications to measure the rate of flow. It uses a float that moves up and down in a tapered Borosilicate Glass Tube, balancing buoyancy forces and weight proportionally to flow rate. The vertical position of the float indicates the instantaneous flow rate.
1. Used for rated flow measurement of water, liquid, gas, and air.2. Wetted parts in S.S. 304, SS. 316, Polypropylene PTFE lined.3. Flange end screwed hose nipple connection.4. Process connection ranges from 1/2" NB to 4" NB. 5. Flow alarm available upon request.
1. Accuracy: +/- 2% F.S.D.2. Maximum Operating Temperature: 121°C for Gas services, 93°C for Liquid services3. Repeatability: 0.5%4. Connections: Flanged, Screwed, Triclover Joint, Hose Nipple5. Enclosure: IP 55 or 65 on request
Rotameter types include direct reading, variable area, metal tube, in-line, bypass, high-pressure, and specialized types.
